Announcing Azure AI Search Support in Vectorize

We’re excited to announce that Vectorize now supports Azure AI Search as a vector database option for your RAG pipelines! This new integration lets you leverage Microsoft’s powerful AI-powered search capabilities directly within your Vectorize workflows—giving you more flexibility and choice when building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) applications.
What is Azure AI Search?
Azure AI Search (formerly Azure Cognitive Search) is Microsoft’s cloud-based search service for building rich search experiences in web, mobile, and enterprise apps. With built-in AI capabilities, it now supports storing and searching vector embeddings, making it an excellent fit for RAG use cases.

How to Get Started
Getting started with Azure AI Search in Vectorize is simple:
- Create an Azure AI Search service in your Azure portal
- In Vectorize, go to Vector Databases and select New Vector Database Integration
- Choose Azure AI Search from the available options
- Enter your Azure AI Search service name and API key
- Create a new RAG pipeline using your Azure AI Search integration
