Bring Dropbox Data to your AI with Vectorize

When you’re building AI applications, you need to connect data from everywhere in your organization. That’s why we’re happy to announce that we’ve added support for Dropbox!

With the Dropbox source connector, you can create a RAG pipeline that automatically scans your Dropbox file system for matching documents. When Vectorize finds a new file, it will process it, making it available in your vector database. AI applications use retrieval augmented generation (RAG) to fetch important context for the LLM. The Dropbox integration in Vectorize gives these applications immediate access to information from your Dropbox locations.

When building your RAG pipeline, you can combine Dropbox files with any other data sources you want your LLM to have access to. For example, if you’re building an AI agent to handle customer support cases, your support handbooks and policies may live in Dropbox along with documents customers upload to your support agents. You may also want your AI agent to have access to previous support cases which live in Intercom and to publicly available documentation on your website.

Vectorize lets you combine your Dropbox documents with information from all of these systems to create a single RAG pipeline that populates your vector search indexes with all of the information your AI agent needs.
