Email is a critical information source for research, compliance, and agentic workflows. With our new Gmail connector, you can now ingest and structure email data just like any other document source — making it available for retrieval, reasoning, and automation.

Supported Filters and Configuration

The Gmail connector uses OAuth authentication. Once configured, you can filter email ingestion by:

  • Sender and recipient addresses
  • Subject keywords
  • Gmail labels (e.g., CATEGORY_PROMOTIONSCATEGORY_SOCIAL)
  • Message categories: Inbox, Sent, Unread, Starred, Archived
  • Date ranges
  • Whether to include attachments

Using Gmail as a Source

To set up the connector:

  1. Go to Source Connectors in your Vectorize workspace.
  2. Select Gmail from the connector catalog.
  3. Authorize with your Google account.
  4. Apply filtering options as needed.
  5. Use the connector as a source in any pipeline.

Once configured, Vectorize handles ingestion, chunking, and indexing, making email content available for search, retrieval, or structured reasoning workflows.

The Gmail connector is live — you can start ingesting and indexing email content today.
